John A. Monaghan, Attorney

A native of Kentucky and Idaho, he moved to Tidewater in 2002 and resides in Virginia Beach with his wife and their five children. He is a member of St. Gregory's Parish and the Knights of Columbus.

He has a B.A. of Philosophy from Thomas More College, Merrimack, NH (Class of 1993) and a J.D. from Regent University, School of Law (Class of 2005). He has previously worked as a paralegal, salesperson, fundraiser and regulation compliance specialist.

His first job was for a start-up Corporation, where the hours were long, the pay little and the dreams big. This gave him an entrepreneurial desire which he has never shaken, and now he satiates it by practicing law with a focus on estate litigation, estate planning and elder law.

His hobbies are Wild Boar Hunting, homebrewing and reading. He particularly reads history, philosophy and comedic.

Jeff O'Day, Paralegal

A native of North Carolina , he moved to Virginia Beach in 2004. He likes building computers, playing with his PS3 and the Second Amendment.

A lifelong believer in Consumer Advocacy, he spends hours (literally) on the phone, explaining why warranties should be honored and paid debts removed from credit reports.

He is a member of the Virginia Defense League and Beardeddragons.org (A scientific community about bearded dragons.) He has two bearded dragons, four dogs and a cat.
